Standards Rava is one of those teams that do not need presentation. It 's like a team of champions, and during those ninety minutes together, anything can happen. The first thing that binds these four musicians is the friendship and mutual trust, which is essential when we are gathered together to improvise in a concert of "standards".

Enrico Rava Italian jazz musician is surely the best known and appreciated internationally. Always engaged in diverse and challenging experiences, appeared on the jazz scene in the mid-sixties, winning quickly as one of the most compelling of the European jazz soloists.

Dino Piana, which is considered by all the "Lord" of the Italian jazz began her journey in 1959 when it comes to radio contest "The Cup of Jazz", immediately brings a solo performer.

Mazzariello Julian Oliver was born in England and began playing the piano at age 7. Won the "Young Jazz Musician of the Year" for the Daily Telegraph.
He moved to Salerno to 18 years, works with leading jazz musicians the area only to meet internationally renowned artists including Dario Deidda, Alfonso Deidda, Peter Vitale, Gege Telesforo, Lucio Dalla and Nickolai Nicky.

Fabrizio Sferra: founder of the acclaimed trio dissolved and Doctor 3, but with a long and articulate artistic career, which has proved capable of building sophisticated dynamic drummer tonal-rhythmic that make him an original master of jazz drumming in Europe.
